One day workshops

I offer the following One day workshops most of which run as scheduled workshops at one of my venues or which can be booked as group bookings at your own venue/event. Workshops generally run 10am - 4pm although this can be tailored to your group/event if required.

For scheduled workshops, current venues include Edibles near Huddersfield, RHS Harlow Carr in Harrogate or the Meditation Centre in Dent in the Yorkshire Dales. 

Please email me to discuss dates and requirements for your group bookings. I'm used to working with a variety of venue options both inside and outdoors from conference centres and home kitchens to offices and open fields! I may also be able to host your group at one of the venues above or somewhere similar subject to availability and venue hire.

Using Medicinal Herbs at Home 10am-4.30pm:

An introduction to using common herbs from the kitchen garden and hedgerow to enable you to treat everyday ailments with confidence. Find out how to make your own herbal infusions, tinctures and medicinal oils along with tips on harvesting and storing your herbs. Also includes a lovely herb walk and identification advice.

Make your own Natural beauty products 10am -4.30pm:

Discover how to make your own beautiful face and body preparations. From facial cleansers, steam-baths and scrubs to lip-balms, body butters and bath salts, we’ll explore different herbal ingredients, base and essential oils, make macerated oils and learn how to use and blend them all together. A fabulous hands-on day out!

Womens herbs for Health and Happiness 10-4:

Discover a treasure chest of wonderful herbs to nourish and support you through all stages of womanhood. Find out about the history of herbal healing and learn how to make herbal infusions and macerated oils for your own health and beauty needs and generally celebrate how fab it is to be female! Includes a herb walk. Suitable for teenagers upwards (under 17s must be accompanied by attending adult).

Naturally Fabulous Wellbeing & Yoga day 10-4
A fabulous full day of Herbs, Nutrition, Yoga and total Wellbeing designed for energy, vitality and balance. The workshop includes a herb walk and fantastic relaxation and yoga sessions suitable for all plus smoothie making session and make your own relaxation tea blends and body oils to take home.


Herbs, Yoga and Meditation day 10-5
Initially created for the beautiful Meditation Centre in Dent in the Yorkshire Dales, this fabulous day workshop combines all of my favourite things: morning and afternoon yoga sessions suitable for all complemented with short meditations, a mini herbal workshop and herbal tea tastings, an outdoor herb walk and meditation session and a guided relaxation to finish off the day. The following themes (all benefits of Meditation) are available: 'Relax and Restore', 'Energy and Vitality', 'Balance and Focus', 'Rest and Digest', 'Transformation' and 'Health and Happiness'.

Winter Wellness 10-4
Herbal teas and remedies to ward off the winter chills, uplift the spirits and boost your mood, energy and immune systems. Full of practical wellbeing and nutrition tips, we'll also discuss herbal tinctures and make herbal decoctions, syrups and chest rubs.


Rest and Digest 10-4
A restorative day of Herbs, Nutrition, Yoga and Wellbeing advice to soothe a stressed mind and/or digestive system. This relaxed informative workshop includes lots of herbal teas, practical dietary advice plus essential tension relieving tips such as breathing exercises and guided relaxation.

Everyday Nutrition for Health and Vitality 10-4
With over 10 years experience helping others improve their health through changing the way they eat and as an active busy mum with a mainly meat, dairy and gluten-free diet myself, this workshop will give you the know-how to make these changes yourself to improve your own health and vitality. With practical advice on meal planning for your needs and that of your family, it also gives you the chance to try out new out many everyday 'superfoods' to find what you like and discover quick, easy recipes using wholesome nuts, seeds, grains and pulses.

From smoothies, herb teas, raw food balls, sprouting beans and quinoa salads to wholesome soups, dips and stir fries, we'll look at the best ways to support your day from start to finish to maximise your energy, physical and emotional wellbeing. While everything we prepare on the day will be vegan and gluten-free, including the delicious lunch we'll make together, you'll be given lots of ideas of how best to combine your new knowledge with meat, fish, cheese and eggs for those that prefer a more varied diet.

Naturally Gorgeous: Womens Natural Beauty and Wellbeing day 10-4

A fun, jam-packed day of herbal potions, natural beauty recipes and nutrition and well-being tips to keep you looking and feeling gorgeous inside and out. In the morning, we'll look at herbal teas to relax, revive and promote optimum health and vitality and smoothies to re-invigorate and supercharge your system from within as well as making some delicious raw food balls to enjoy after our special herbal tea tasting. Before lunch you'll have chance to blend some of your own herbal teas to take home with you.

After lunch with a herbal tea, we begin our natural beauty session. We'll look at how to use herbal infusions and natural foods and oils as part of your skin and hair care routines and make up your own bath/ body oil using aromatherapy oils for you to take home. You'll then enjoy creating your own Naturally Gorgeous luxury Hand treatment including a lovely self-massage routine. We finish off with a short relaxation to ensure you end the session smiling with serene loveliness. NB there is no yoga in this workshop so is suitable for a smaller venue.
